Looking for name of small place Kyle 10-25-08  
This is going to be a long shot, but I was in Jalapa once and found this great little place where they served a la carte items really cheap. They had this little dish that was potatoes and cheese, then put in a broiler. It was very good and very cheap. The other was a corn tortilla with a meat and cheese filling. Like a quesadilla, but more like a taco. That was good too.

The only thing about the place that I can tell you is that it was up a hill and around a curve, and it was open very late.

Anyone know what the place is?

Sorry I don't know the name, but there is such a place next to VIPS downtown Xalapa. They have good pancakes, too.

Another restaurant of similar food is on the way out of Xalapa toward Veracruz close to the postoffice, or in the general area. Sorry I don't know the name of this one either, but maybe some other of the expatriats will know.
