There is a great restaurant offering traditional local dishes in the Centro. "La Casona del Beaterio" is set in a colonial atmosphere --high beamed ceilings-- and is typically mexican. It's very good and considering the experience and quality quite cheap. Try the beef fondue if you're a party of two or more, it's fun and delicious. Remember that the French have a big influence on Veracuzan cuisine because of their early presence in the state.
La Casona is open from 8am to 11pm from Mon to Sat, and until 10pm on Sun. It's located on Zaragoza close to Primo Verdad. |
