Well I'm starting to feel quite lonely on this forum. Where is everybody?
Anyway I won't give up.
There is a place in Coatepec where the trouts are very good. The staff is wonderful as is the place which opens onto a garden. I don't know the exact adress but it's close to the main square and the market. The name is "Los Tucanos". It's well known, so just ask?
There is parking.
Another place I love is in Xico. "Acamalin" is only open from friday to sunday, has a wonderful owner and staff. They serve only local dishes and even before you order they bring you a little jug of the local herb, verde, liquor. I don't know the adress either but it's in one of the small streets going down towards the river, a bloc from the main street. Also ask, evrybody is so friendly and trying to be helpful.
As a chef I go out a lot to restaurants and will keep you informed. |
