You need three months of recent statements from a Mexican or foreign bank or financial institution showing regular monthly deposits equal to or above the equivalent of 250 times the daily minimum wage in Mexico City. In 2007 the min wage is $50.57 pesos, so the FM3 income requirement is about $12,642.50 pesos per month, or close to US$1,200 per month. The minimum wage increases a little on Jan 1 each year.

The amount does not change within Mexico. Mexican consulates in other countries may have old/outdated info.
