This is almost June... weather unbearable or not? Kyle 5-13-09  
I am a teacher and get the summer off, which is the only time I could visit. Is the weather in June unbearable, or not? I live in South Carolina, so it is pretty warm with mugginess. I would like to be a bit cooler, and understand Jalapa is around 4000 ft above sea level.

What would you think?

The rainy season has started which means the higher April/May temperatures are mostly gone. It is actually kind of cool now (for Xalapa standards) with people wearing light jackets and the like. It might get warm in the summers especially in the mornings (70-80 F°) but rain will eventually follow. In the evening it might get in the 60s. That's summer here.
