Some of the towns close to Xalapa are Coatepec, Xico, Teocelo, Chico, and Monte Blanco. There are foreigners in these areas as well. Before you build, talk to an expat who has built a house in the past here in Mex. There are surprises you may not like. Hope you speak Spanish.
The climate is pleasant most of the year. This time of year is supposed to be wetter and the rainy season, but we are abit late. The temps. are good all year round except in April and May when they are higher-90s. But soon we will have more rain in the afternoons and the temps will drop to the pleasant 70s or 80s.
If you want a quiet place to live and have a house already built, you might want to look at the add on these pages of the house for $135,000. It has about 1/2 acre in grass and fruits. A possiblity. |
