Climate Algarra 7-23-08
Hi,
I'm an expat in the Yucatan and really like Xalapa. I'd love to spend more time there. Could someone tell me what are the BEST and WORST times of the year there, climate-wise, and why?
Re: Climate Jay 7-24-08
Jan. through Feb. are abit cold for this climate-sometimes in the 40s at night. But not unpleasant. Mar. and Apr. are usually dry and hotter-can reach in the 90s. Same with the first part of May. The last week of May through Oct. are usually wet with rain during the afternoons and at night. This year we had more rain in June than in many years. The days are usually in the high 70s or low 80s and the nights are in the 60s. Nov. through Dec. are cooler and with some drizzle. Overall the climate is good all year long with some changes as described above. Hope this helps.
