Any suggestions on where to live in Xalapa Dom 12-12-07  
Saludos, I'm so glad I discovered this forum. I'm sure it could be quite helpful. Anyway, I've been in Xalapa for a couple of weeks with the intention of relocating. I'm now staying in a furnished suites hotel and I'm looking for a long term rental. So far I like the zona universtaria and Coatepec but would appreciate some suggestions as to other areas that you might know are pleasant to live in.

Have you been in Xico? There are other Americans living there. The town is located near the water falls and very picturesque.

We live in Coatipec and find it more to our liking than Xalapa-too busy.

My husband and I both used to live in Xalapa, and plan to visit this summer from August 3 to 22nd. We would like to rent a furnished home, ideally close to downtown. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any leads.

I live in the US and am looking for websites with listings of places to rent long term and not vacation rentals. I am looking for non tourist family rentals. Does anyone know of any?
