I was wondering if the climate in Xalapa is conducive to growing wine? It would seem to wet, but who knows... maybe there is.

Does anyone know of any wineries in the area?

Dear Esther,

Personally I don't know of any. The typical grages from the States do not do well here. Somewhere I have some information of a grape that does well in humid climates. I will have to look. There are very good Mexican wines, though.
