Spanish language school rachel 2-11-09  
Hello
I am looking for a reccomendation for a spanish langauge school in Xalapa or any of the surrounding towns. I want Xalapa to be my vacation destination but I want to incorporate 3 weeks of structured language learning into that. Any ideas?

Dear Rachel,

There is a school in Xalapa that many foreigners go to to learn beginning Spanish and then go on to advanced. The name is Escuela para Estranjeros near the main post office of Xalapa.

The best school is of course to use what you learn by talking to the local population. Juarez park is a good place to start as the people are friendly and willing to help you with your Spanish. Expect a few laughs when you make mistakes, but it is all in good fun and they are not making fun of you.
