Retiring in xalapa joyce 4-5-08
Hi xalapenos,

am considering relocating to xalapa from san francisco.

two big questions:

how is the climate overall? How many months of the year does it rain?

what will I pay in xalapa or coatepec for a little two bedroom colonial house?

thanks for your help. visited jalapa about 7 years ago and liked it alot

Your anxwer is in the "moving to Xalapa" section. I loved San Francisco when I lived there. Xalapa is more pleasant in climate and not so damp or cold.

XALAPA IS A BEATIFUL CITY TO LIVE IN. THE WEATHER IS GOOD, NOT TOO HOT NOR COLD. THE RAINING SEASON IS IN SUMMER, IN THE MONTHS OF MAY AND JUNE. AND ALSO IN WINTER, DECEMBER TO FEBRUARY, BUT IT IS NOT TOO COLD AS IN THE USA.
THE COST TO PAY A RENT IS NOT TOO EXPENSIVE. IT'S ABOUT 200 DOLLARS PER MONTH.
IN GENERAL, XALAPA IS A NICE PLACE TO LIVE IN.
