Post New Message I agree with Jay. On my visit to Jalapa I found that people were out and about very late, and many times it was young people.

Your parents have probably been watching the news regarding the trouble had in Juarez. That is a border town, and very different from "cultured" Mexico, which is what Jalapa is.

So, whatever your parents say, listen to them, but if they do let you go know that you'll have a wonderfully cultural experience.
