Xalapa to Mexico City Airport - direct! Zane 11-11-07  
I just found out that you can take the ADO bus directly back to the airport in Mexico City!

I bought my ticket inside the Chedraui for $272 MX (about $25 US). Since my plane was leaving at 9:00 AM, the best option for me was to leave at 11:30 PM to arrive around 4 AM. In retrospect, I think I should have taken the later one (about 2:30 AM), since I found myself hanging around the airport for many hours.

Anyway, the bus had all of 5 people on it, so stretching out in the seats was no burden at all. I actually got some sleep.

I will be visiting my son which is a studnet at the Universidad. I was thinking of taking the bus from DF to Xapala. Can you take a bus directly from the airport or do you have to go to the airport to the bus station then to Xapala. How safe it it?

Hi i'm a college student in Miami but i was born in Xalapa... There is a bus that leaves Mexico City Airport directly to Xalapa, once you arrive to the airport you can walk to the other side of the airport (not the international area but where the national flights live) and you will find a "ADO" station those are the buses that live from Xalapa to Mexico's Airport back and forth
