Day-to-day living tips? gloria 11-28-07
I would like to know what a typical day is like living in Xalapa. Do you eat at home? Are there breakfast places to go to that you frequent? What kind of coffee shops are there?

Also, what activities do you find most take up your time?

Just starting to plan, and would like to know...

Gloria

Dear Gloria,

If not working, for women coffee time with friends. As this is the coffee capital of Mex. (actually Coatepec is and is only 10 minutes from Xalapa) there are many breakfast and coffee restaurants in Xalapa. There is plenty to do from site seeing to visiting the malls (modern) or traveling from place to place such as Coatepec or Xico. There are also American stores to visit such as Home Depot, Cosco, Sams, Walmart, and the largest mall near Cosco-Plaza Americas. Other malls include Plaza Animas,Plaza Museo, and the market locations in the area. Also there is an excellent Museum that dates from modern times to B.C.
If you want more information, please do not hesitate to ask.
Jay
