March and April are ususally warmer and dry. Of course every year is a little different, but so far the forcast for march is on target. Some rains fall in May and June usually starts the rainy season. There is no problem getting around as the terrain is sloped as Xalapa is on the foothills of a mountain. The rainy season is not like the Monsoons of India. Usually it rains in the afternoon maybe as much as an inch or more. But not every day. Year before last the rainfall was 84in. Keeps everything green. Don't worry about the rains being like Seattle. We have plenty of sunshine.
